Adriane is a profound believer that the practice of yoga allows us to arrive fully in our lives and live fully in the present moment. She finds joy in linking her vinyasa sequences with carefully curated playlists, and believes music is another conduit for her students to “go within” during her classes. Adriane graduated from the Blue Lotus 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 after more than a decade of personal practice. Her yoga journey began during her sophomore year in college when she took a class at a local chiropractor’s office. She was immediately enamored by the focus, internal stillness and peace she found on her mat. She has returned to her practice time and time again to cope with the ebbs and flows of her life. She founded Slack Tide Yoga Studio in 2024, is currently studying to complete her 500-hour certification with Leslie Pearlman of Good Ground Yoga. She has completed additional training in sequencing with Jason Crandell and Yin Yoga through YogaRenew.

Lex began her asana practice of yoga around 40 years ago, using it as a complement to her outdoor pursuits, such as mountaineering. She then became a serious student of Ashtanga yoga in Telluride, Colorado in the early 1990s to compliment her high altitude climbing. Lex eventually returned to the East Coast, and found a lifetime teacher in Beryl Bender Birch, author, teacher and founder Hard and Soft Ashtanga Yoga Institute in NYC. Lex is an E-800 hour level instructor with the Hard and The Soft Yoga Institute; registered with the National Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 500 level, and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She teaches about all 8 Limbs in Yoga, with a traditional Asana style practice.

For as long as Kendra can remember, she loved to walk our beach gathering shells, sea glass or driftwood. She enjoyed the journey of discovering something old than to see it again as something new. Kendra used to perceive yoga as a learned practice, seeing only the end game, not the journey. Now, through her 20 years of practicing yoga, she explores her life’s purpose and its meaning. She teaches from experience, so her practice is what she preaches. She reflects on the truth of yoga so students can be brave and step out of their comfort zone.

Off the mat, Kendra is the Chief Executive Officer and Boss Lady to her Husband, Paul and their two lively teenage girls for the past 16 years. She lives with her family on a farm in Rock Hall, Maryland.

Andrea has been teaching yoga since 2016. While she practiced intermittently throughout her lifetime she really fell in love with yoga in 2014 when it became more than just a physical practice for her and it helped her get through some real life challenges. Having a background in personal training, Andrea loves movement and breaking a sweat, and strives to empower her yogis to stand fully and authentically in their expression whatever it may be or look like in that day or moment.
