Our Classes

Students explore thoughtfully selected postures to build safe, intelligent approaches to arm balances, hip openers, gentle inversions, and backbends, with modifications, props, and progressions always offered. Each practitioner can choose the depth of engagement that feels right for their body, allowing for intelligent exploration without physical strain.

Define is ideal for anyone new to yoga, returning after a hiatus, or working with an injury, as long as students can get up and down from the floor. This class builds a foundation of internal intelligence, strength, and mindful presence, supporting both physical and nervous-system well-being. Modifications, props, and alternative variations are always offered.

A 75-minute class using the Ashtanga yoga system, during which we explore and study all 8 limbs of this ancient system. The physical practice (asana) includes postures that focus on physical stability and alignment while building stamina and endurance. This class also includes breath work (pranayama) and meditation.

Elevate focuses on expansion of postures, including arm balances, backbends, inversions, and wall-supported work, while emphasizing internal and physical connection and resilience.  Postures are held to deepen engagement, awareness, and strength. Modifications, props, and alternative variations are always offered, so practitioners can choose the level of challenge that feels right for their body.

This style of yoga emphasizes relaxation and surrender, allowing practitioners to release tension and cultivate a sense of mindfulness.
